Is there a letter before the SN? A 5-digit SN would make it very early production and it would be a 5-screw. Also, in one pic I think I see the fourth screw - in the front top of the trigger guard (aiming the same direction as the muzzle). When you swing out the cylinder is there a model number stamped on the frame under the yoke?

      I'm going to go with

      "priceless".

      Very nice Bangzoom,
and if you end up looking up values on gunbroker make sure to add a few dollars "because California".

Until you ceracoat it, replace at least 65% of the integral OEM parts, and put a compensator on it to handle the brutal recoil, I'm not too sure of any real current market value.

Yes there is a screw there...thx ...didnt see that...no letter before the serial....and not sure on a model number...almost looks like "T3" under the ser# on the yoke...hard to read

edit...There is an M above the serial on the frame but not on the yoke

Well, it's a very nice 4-screw. They deleted the upper screw in 1955 and started stamping the model numbers in 1957 so it falls into that range. Serial numbers should be K something, so not sure what's up with that. Are you looking at the number on the bottom of the grip frame? You have to remove the stocks to find it. If you are reading the number from the frame behind the yoke that is an assembly number. You are correct that the stocks are not original to the gun but they are nice and probably better for shooting than the originals.

With correct stocks, box and tools I would think it would fetch $750 - $850 depending how long you want to wait. With the existing stocks and no box/tools probably closer to $650 - $700.

A fellow here locally has had one for sale for several months - same vintage, same condition but with correct diamond magnas. He is asking $645 and it hasn't sold yet.

If you find someone who is looking for a match to their K32 and/or K38 they might pay a premium; maybe up to $1K. Then again, my opinion is worth what you paid for it.
