This caters more to the prepping side of things but does anyone else remember the MrLockandLoad/Parlusk/Luvroffreedom76 etc days? There are others I'm forgetting. They all deleted their accounts at about the same time. I think MainePrepper was hospitalized.

Luvroffreedom76 has a channel called Any Weapon Defense now but he seems to routinely delete videos.

I agree he's too long winded, but he's one of the few that are there simply because they like guns.

Hickcock is mentioning Federal Cartridge and a few other names far too much for my liking these days, but I used to like him.

I think we've come to understand these videos as reviews but in reality they are really infomercials.

Most of the guns and gear channels exist solely because companies give them stuff to "try" on-line. Gun Blast is one of them and I have never heard or read a negative comment from that guy.

And I have to ask, how many thrunite flashlights infomercials are on youtube now? It's a joke!

For a few weeks I was watching a guy named pastor joe fox, I think it's viking preparedness. I thought he was cool until he started selling beard oil! I stopped watching!

At this point I don't like any of them. I search for the gadgets I'm interested in and I look for videos that show good closeups of the product.

I tried to enjoy Yankee Marshall but the corny jokes he captions over his footage just kills it for me. Doesn't really seem all that informative.

I'll stick to hickok45 and LifeSizePotato, only because I'm obligated as an HK Fanboy.

I'm pretty sure Yankee Mardhall doesn't know how to shoot. The very few shots of him at the range show him struggling to handle the recoil on even 9mm firearms.

MAC and Sootch are the most obvious shills. Sootch almost seems like a parody channel at times tbh.

To be fair to Hickock he ackowledges his sponsors and mentions them once or twice per video and thats it. He's the only youtube reviewer whos opinion i trust.

Hickok45 seems like the most popular one so far along with Nutnfancy. I recently got back into precision rifle shooting so lately been watching plenty of 8541Tactical and 6.5guys.
