    22 Shorts

Has anyone bought any of the Vostok 22 Short ammo?

I bought a few bricks of some old Vostok ammo last year. It has been tough to find 22 short and I don't remember the circumstances of the purchase, but it was the last of the Vostok this vendor had.

Been good stuff. No issues on ignition, accuracy, etc.

For a second I thought you were gonna have a pic of 22 pairs of shorts...

Thanks, any idea what the velocity is? What guns have you fired it through?

In 22 Long Rifle it is greasy dirty ammo. Where are you finding this old Russian ammo I don't think it has been imported in a long time. If I found some in 22 Short at a decent price I'd try some out. I collect guns chambered in 22 Short only and have about 9 of them.

Sorry, never chrono'd it. Shot with Ruger Single 10 and Browning BL 22.

Looks like I bought this stuff in mid-2015 from CzechPoint. Got the last 4 bricks they had at that time. It was 10 cpr, which was generally reasonable at the time (although the shorts are still pretty high in price - not a lot made it seems).
