Night Owl Gear - review please?

Have you purchased anything from Night Owl Gear?

If so, what was your experience?

They have a product that I'd like to buy at a very good price...I can't seem to find anywhere else that sells it for this price.

Is it a good company to buy from.

There is very little info about them on the internet.

    Thanks

Only products they seem to build are NVG's, and i cannot condone the purchase of cheap NVG's. There are more entertaining ways to blow money, like making an edible suit out of bacon, or going to the dentist

What product are you looking to buy? What are you going to use it for?

If it's their night vision, I'd take a pass. Save up for Gen 2 night vision at least.

Actually just found one from arms unlimited that's an even better deal...never heard of them either.
          Thoughts?
          Legit company to buy from?

Thats why you had me slightly confused, you should have asked about the surefire lol. The dsf's have a pretty bad battery drain issue. Im not sure if they fixed it since, but a couple years ago tbey camr under heat for refusing to acknowledge the drainage. I also vote no for purchasing from Backordered Unlimited

I've heard of the issue/design flaw
I'm hoping to get information regarding the quality of the companies selling it, not opinions of the actual product.

I'm aware that there is a master power switch and that IF left on it will drain the battery.
I'm not 100% sure if they have fixed this or not either, but I don't mind using the master switch.

I like the product and want one, just trying to find it at the best price, but don't want to buy from a company that will cause me headache

I'm sure you can recommend other options as far as weapon mounted lights go, but I have settled on this one

If AU actually *physically* has it in stock then I don't see an issue. You might want to contact them first to make sure they actually have it.
