Selling an NFA AOW

I'm trying to help out my grandfather. He lives in California and has a registered AOW that he wants to sell.

He's having problems understanding how to do this though and can't find any gun stores that are willing to consign it.

Can anybody walk me through this process?

Quite a few folks here are set up to buy California legal NFA items.

Yeah, fingerprints, photos, etc to ATF. Then the seller has to wait for approval (6-12 months) before he can transfer it to the buyer.
