    What i've learned from the DOJ Process

    Hey guys, just wanted to give my two cents on the DOJ and the mechanics on how they work from what i've learned so far.

    So as I am sure most of you are aware, the Ca DOJ is in charge of determining whether you're eligible to own firearms or not. Some of you might have a criminal record that doesn't validate a reason to prevent you from owning a firearm. However, I have learned through my first year of purchasing a firearm that the DOJ completely sucks *** and they are proud of it.
    Ill just go down the list.
    -In the event you had a disqualifying record that would prevent you from owning a firearm, regardless weather you were convicted or had the case dismissed, you will not be approved for a firearm, but you will also not be denied =) (tricky huh).

    -In the event your name or description is similar to someone else who isn't eligible to own a gun, you will not be approved for a firearm but also not denied =).

    -After 30 days, if the doj cannot determine you as denied, you are put on a "undetermined" list which basically means "**** this guy" (or gal, [dont want to sound sexist]).

    -The DOJ only has access to your criminal record, but does not have access to the disposition of the criminal record (which basically means they know you were arrested for something but don't know if you were convicted of a crime and it's not like they care because they won't take the time to find out.) Its not like your paying them to do the research (sarcasm).

    -If you constantly find yourself getting delayed or undetermined the best option would depend on what your goals are. If you are a red blooded American who will continue to buy firearms, *request a live scan and the doj will send you a copy of what they have on their computer so you can correct them if they're any mistakes or closed cases (because they really don't know and don't care), which will also require evidence from the court. Or, if you are just looking to own one home defense firearm and you know for a fact you have no disqualifyers and can legally own a firearm, then just go get your firearm at a Local gun Shop that delivers on Undetermined.

    Well those are two cents

    Actually, they are the DOJ. They have access to anything they want to have access to. They just make stupid lazy determinations, then make you prove them wrong. Innocent until proven guilty is a concept not recognized by bureaucrats.

    DOJ = Dept of Jerkoffs.

    There is no Justice found at the Dept of Justice, only political butt puppet agenda followers.
