    Do you need ammo purchase permit for private sales?

    I'm thinking about offloading some ammo I have, do ammo sales/purchases need to go through an FFL now like ptp gun sales do? Or are private ammo sales still cash and carry?

      Until the new refs kick in next year, there is no restriction regarding selling factory new ammo to a private individual, at least on a state level.

              ... but when it does fully change, won't be able to sell privately at all, but only through an 'ammunition dealer'.
