A while back I went featureless with my rifle and installed a fin grip (w/thumb rest) like so many of you did.
In the past I became accustomed to carrying or transitioning positions, etc. using the grip one handed. Usually the weak hand is carrying other things or supporting myself if prone. Even with arthiritis, the one hand carry and maintaining control of the rifle is not a problem. I also never had a problem of keeping my trigger finger along side of the reciever, away from the trigger.
I find now with the fin, my trigger finger wants to go into the trigger area to get a more secure grip. Obviously I'm going to need to re-train my ole brain into doing things differently. Not that easy these days, especially when changing somehing that is "second nature".
All of you managed to adapt, I guess I can too. (I find the ambi-safety rides on my thumb as well).
THE QUESTION:
Do you find that you are more likely to place your trigger finger inside the trigger guard when changing positions, etc. with any type of fin grip?
Respectfully
Kyle
