I would love to own a p220 SAO Stormvet. You are very lucky indeed. There's been some buzz that a Legion 220 SAO is on the way. Since I'm a 1911 shooter primarily the safety is 2nd nature for me. That said, I do have to "double-thumb" the safety on this one to engage it much like my SP01. The Sig has a very positive and reassuring "click" to it and I like that. Disengaging the safety is the same as a 1911 with no issues.

Dry testing of the reset on this new one is impressive. I think I'll keep it.

Then you won't get any Legion stickers!Originally posted by gloriaspaderVery nice. I've been looking for one, just not at the prices I've seen. I may just try to get the trigger to put in my old p226r instead.

I was messing with trigger finger placement last night and it's pretty forgiving. I think in general it should be easy to shoot well.sigpic

Absolutely great bang for the buck pistol!
Already used to the short reset on my other sigs, but you're right about it pointing just right.Originally posted by longrange1my gun shoots better with shiny brass...plus not only does the shiny brass make me look like a pimp at the range if the sun catches it just right it blinds the guy next to me which improves my odds of winning the match.Originally posted by XDJYoFull size. Stubbies are for sissies.Comment

Makes me dizzy....turn the durn picture around!!!my expectations out of the box[IMG]
But man I'm in love. Points beautifully, trigger and reset are far superior to most in stock configuration. Grips are nice and sticky; checkering in all the right places. Pistol is beefy and balanced with a beautiful finish even covered with factory gunk. Jury still out on the sights until range time although the front sight acquisition is quick with a few practice draws. Sig did a nice job overall.
