Glock single stack 40 cal.

I was thinking how nice it would be if glock would introduce a couple of these and what would the market be? First I was thinking of a 10mm for hunting, then I read that the off the self 10mm loads are like shooting a .40 +p load. I would think it would be good for shooting steel challenge. A 5" or a 4.5" barrel single stack 10 round gun. 9mm or .40? What is your guy opinion?

I bet a single stack 40 would sell, but not NEARLY like the G43. A single stack 10mm, I would probably buy one...but I doubt it would sell all that well at all.

Probably not a huge market imho. People seem to be going away from .40.

Kahr makes the TP40 which is a full sized single stack polymer .40cal.

I'd love to have a glock 44 and I hope they make one as I think they could sell a bunch... .40 isn't the top caliber but def still has a following and I believe the buyers are out there. BUT, as mentioned above, kahr makes a fine firearm and I own several, they'll do until glock makes it happen...

It also has to be no bigger than the 43, if it's bigger(like the 43 was bigger than the 42) they lost me.

I think that the single stacks are aimed more for the people with smaller hands. most people with smaller hands aren't going to like the recoil from the 40.
