If you need blood, Packed Red Cell's or Fresh Frozen Plasma or Albumin when SHTF, you will be getting it from a hospital or an air ambulance will take it with them on some flights. If they have blood they will have a surgeon. If you need blood when SHTF, you will need a surgeon.

Blood will buy you time.
A Surgeon will save your life.
