Somethings wrong with my upper!!

So, i bought this upper, brand new and after a few cycle of the bolt, the paint is chipping off!! Its a HUGE problem! Especially after i laid the gun to take a picture of it on the carpet, do you guys think my gun will still shoot??



See the paint chip?? Seems to be from the dust cover.

As long as the cam pin never gets ware marks on it after you shoot, you should be gtg with that rifle. Dust cover spring may be too "hot" order a enhanced asap.

Without a pic of the carpet to determine the density of the shag. We can only assume it's not a Milspec dust cover spring as noted by Calico. Everything MUST be Milspec. Lesson learned.
