Home built for CCW

Now that home built guns have to be serialized and registered can i add a home build to my carry list?

I have a home build that i would trust my life with. I wonder if the local SD will approve.

Most IAs won't allow it. A very few might, but I doubt it. You'll only know for sure by asking your IA.

If you post your location there might be a member with first hand experience with your IA.

Too bad we don't live in a Constitutional Carry state. Then we could carry AR pistols, AOWs, any regular pistols, including your home build. But in this state, most IAs will not allow you to carry your build. Funny, they will allow me to carry my WWI era revolver that has been through God knows what in a hundred years but won't let me carry a home built pistol that has been proven safe and is modern technology and engineering.

My county definitely would not allow it, pistols here have to be registered (to the CCW-holder's name, not even a spouse), can't be registered as an SSE, and can't have non-factory parts. Every county is different though... if you successfully add it to your CCW, let us know
