Where do you guys usually buy cleaning supplies for pistols/rifles from?

How often do you guys purchase?

Trying to find a place that has the best deals. I'm always shooting and cleaning, maybe its time to find a place that sells good products but for a good price (That i may not know of)

i initially bought my cleaning supplies from midwayusa. but i'm sure you can find it on brownells too.

i usually wait for their free shipping promos before ordering since the items are small and i'll just place a big enough order to last me a while.

in fact, i'm still using the supplies i bought 3 years ago.

^^This, Also it seems lately that after I go out shooting at my BLM spot, I stop in to Mariposa gun works and pick up cleaning supplies. They have the best prices of most LGS for their cleaning supplies, bore snakes, brushes and such, My latest favorite stuff is Gun scrubber, stuff works great

The absolute BEST deals are the free stuff at the local household hazardous waste reuse facility. Plus, you can find formulations that are no longer legal for sale in CA.

Try Ballistol

For routine cleaning and lubrication, U.S. made Ballistol is great.

For the real deal Ballistol (German made), I order them on eBay.

Gotcha. I don't clean my guns that often either so I don't buy too much. Maybe there's something out there in the market that's new and superb =)

I know patches are patches, but is there a particular brand patches you guys use?

Albertsons, Home Depot, Costco. I clean the AR's with Dawn and the glocks with Simple Green. I always make sure to lube them after though. Blue and Nickel wheel guns with Hoppes. Stainless steal with Simple green. Don't use too much Ballistol with gold leafed or nickel plated guns FYI.

I only use Slip 2000 products here. I get them from Midway or the gun show.

things that are "new and superb" in the gun cleaning side of things are all overpriced marketing hype.

buy what is known and has been well tested/reviewed

WALMART is my number one choice for gun cleaning / gun lube , and ammunition

WALMART sells for less, even the Bore Snakes are cheaper at WM

everybody else is always a few bucks more on most items

WALMARTS almost like a one stop get everything kind of place, so convenient
