Fixing California's Second Ammendment

I'm new to this forum yet frankly sick of the liberal tools we happened to give offices to in the Sacramento, the house of Reps,and Congress. Namely in my opinions Dick heads like Governor Jerry Brown, and Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom (who is the driving force force behind Prop 63 and gun control, also planning to run for Governor in 2018..). As a law abiding U.S. citizen and a lover of the constitution of my country, I am extremely displeased with these types of laws and further more with the elected officials and legislatures that have passed these laws, as I am quite sure as many of you are. None of this is new to any gun owner anywhere I don't think, but what I can't figure out is how the he'll we have let it get this far and why we have not done anything about it. What can we as a community; like I said I know I'm not the only one, to stop the raping of our rights, restore the Second Ammendment, and make it so that **** like this can not happen again?

I'm do apologize for how long this is but I do think it is massively important, and we do need all the support we can get from the community guys, so maybe if we can get enough people involved with enough contacts and resources we can fight back! And win!

Yeah but it's always the same story in every blue state... like Oregon is now pushing the way of gun control the bigger issue I believe stems in the State Legislature producing the props in language the average citizen (mainly retarded liberal feminist vegan artsy etc...)doesn't understand and they stamp the words gun control on the file and all of a sudden all of a sudden 62.7% of voters vote yes... it's unconstitutional federally to infringe upon the second ammendment and now with the Supreme Court nominations of trump and the Pro Second ammendment office and majorities in Congress. Now is the time for us to Unite and Fight bring back peace and security to anyone willing to accept the responsibility of being a sheep dog rather than the sheep they protect...to strike fear into the hearts of our enemies who will know a fight on US soil means battling more than just the military but the armed population of the US leaving our at home army of citizens in the millions strong and secure. So the next time a wolf shows up to pray on the sheep maybe just maybe a wolf dog will be there to fight it off...maybe then the sheep will realise that while sheepdogs do actually look like wolves but are actually the opposite end of that spectrum not the ones you fear but the ones you revere for their strength and fortitude and acknowledge the face that had that sheep dog not had his teeth you will all fall victim!

The CA State Constitution does not have a "right to bear arms" provision.

So, technically... CA did not legally obtain a "right to bear arms" until 2010 (McDonald v Chicago) when SCOTUS ruled the Second Amendment was incorporated and applied to all Governments, not just the Federal Government.

It's one of the reasons why prior to 2008, the CA Courts consistently ruled that all CA gun control laws were legal because there was nothing in the CA State constitution that prevented them and the Second Amendment only applied to the Federal Government.

The SCOTUS rulings (DC v Heller and McDonald v Chicago) were the first major steps in fixing CA.

Is the 2nd Amendment broken? Why do we need to fix it? California and it's people are the ones that need fixing. Rather, California should respect the 2nd Amendment as a Federal law that supercedes state opinion...

The SCOTUS avoids gun cases like the plague. It's like the 2nd Amendment is a dirty little secret. I can think of only four SCOTUS gun cases that were argued, and one of those was more of a commerce clause case than gun rights.

I think because it is in Comifornia the bigger issue will be getting through the circuit courts of appeal and out of the state to the Supreme court... or atleast is my understanding but I also feel like there is just a lack of fight now I know this is not the case but atleast to me this is as big an a issue as civil rights and it's not just the state of California it's ATF and NFA I think that we (gun supporters, advocates, owners, etc...) should be able to do more than just pay our NRA dues, and write the fvcking dips hit congressman...(the same people raping the second amendment about fixing it. )
