I think the felon part is not the issue....the issue is a sad sad media that thinks a couples of hunks of metal and plastic can "assault" anyone or anything....even if one of those lifeless objects has been deemed an "assault weapon".....the picture these "educated" "journalists" are showing clearly are a shot gun and an "AW" not "aw's"

And that is the only thing they got right in that article. The AR pistol appears to have a BB. So if it is registered (I know, probably not) then there is no AW violation at this time. If it isn't registered as a pistola, then yes, the paper got half the story right...as usual.

And the caption to the photo displaying the two guns claims they are "assault weapons", plural. What a bunch of idiots.
