      Are they open today?

Fewer people are killed with all rifles each year (323 in 2011) than with shotguns (356), hammers and clubs (496), and hands and feet (728).

They have to process PPT by law but expect a painful experience.

Yes, they are open. By law they must process ppt's. Expect the process to be similar to Big 5 --- painfully long.

I called last year sometime and they wanted 100$ for a PPT. Nope, not going there for anything firearm related.

Legally, they can only charge $35 for PPT. FFL transfers are another thing, they can charge $100 for that.

Calling BS on this. Their prices are posted at the gun counter. Did you get the name of the person who told you $100?

I hate doing any thing gun related there. I just did a pistol PPT and it took over an hour. They have their own lame store policies. I've done two PPT there and both times were horrible experiences. I had no choice though since most gun shops are closed on Monday's.

I got lucky one time. I caught a lead guy that helped me out so he was real fast, the computers didn't crash and they had my gun in stock. Took about 30 minutes. I had one go even faster at Turners since they don't use DOJ computers like BP. Second in line when the doors opened and out the door in 20 minutes.
