I have a noob question. If I pass away and I don't want the state to take it, how can I prevent them to take it away?

Transfer outside of California.
You can assign this in your will, so you can continue to enjoy your legal guns right up until a few days before your funeral.- Rich

First, please tell us what you mean by "it" when you sayIf I pass away and I don't want the state to take it
If, in this case and on a gun board, "it" may mean some kind of gun, then our question is 'what kind of gun?'.
Most guns just pass through the will as personal property, with some documentation requirements.
But guns that the state of CA calls 'assault weapons' cannot be passed on and remain in state. And by the time you pass - may that be long in the future! - the state may have deteriorated further.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment
