That worked for me for a few years but I think they cracked down own it. I was even legit albeit for a really thin demographic.

Media at the range was really fun though.

whats funny is that shot show is shared with the airsoft community too.

that might be an easier way to get in.

not hard to grab a reseller license to sell airsoft items. don't even have to actually sell anything.

and there you go. get into SHOT show.

edit: I just checked the FAQ for shot show and all you need is government id with photo (driver id or passport) and 1 document they list. and of course one of them is business license. another way is reseller license, and another is a letter of intent written by a lawyer that you will be starting a business.

that letter of intent would be easy to get, and you can easily keep getting a new one every year and just change the name of the business so you are a "new business". although i'm not sure how much a lawyer charges to draft a letter of intent.

Reseller license looks easy to get only for someone who has never applied for one.

I don't think you want to be on the Board of Equalization's radar and obliged to file monthly or quarterly statements just to get access to the SHOT Show.

hence why after i took a look at the FAQ and required documentation, i saw the "letter of intent" and that can be the easier/quicker choice to go.

Not sure why the public wants to attend, it's geared towards people in the industry and used to make deals for the coming year. Especially in CA, 90% of the stuff isn't an option.

You can see, fondle and shoot better stuff just by visiting SAR Show in Phoenix every year for $17

didn't even know there was a comparable gun show. i was kind of looking at SHOT show as similar to CES and E3. Giant trade shows that had no equals, and gives a chance to look at upcoming stuff.

that SAR show might be something i'll look into.

SAR is a much better show. F/A, class 3 goodies galore.

I think the annual NRA show is sort of close to SHOT in design. the major manufacturers set up shop and it is open to the public.

NRA's Event Of The Year - You're invited to NRA's biggest celebration, with an action-packed lineup of events that includes dinners, auctions, concerts, raffles, seminars, workshops, book signings and more.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
