even people on this forum have been misinformed about when the law takes effect - i could easily see an out of state vendor being misinformed too

call them, you might be able to salvage your backorder

I had the same thing happen to me from Cheaper Than Dirt the other day. A phone call sorted it out. Apparently their IT dept who maintains the website added Cali to the ban list a wee bit too soon.
