Poll: Which .22 rifle ?

For those of you who have both rifles, which would you recommend? The Ruger 10/22 or the S&W M&P 15-22?

Get the Ruger 10/22.

I have .22lr rifles in semi auto magazine, bolt action tube magazine, and lever action, tube magazine. I also have conversion kits for my glocks, 1911's and Beretta 92FS.

Next I need a bolt carrier group for my AR.

yeah Id go with a CZ455 or a Savage if I was looking at long range .22 bolt actions.

for semi-auto its a 10/22 hand down over a fake AR15 in .22.

Now add to this an option of a .22lr dedicated upper for a preexisting AR15 lower, which will be a RAW and I might go with the upper over a 10/22 for BO purpose.

Fill your safe with classics, and then add in extras. The 10 22 is a true classic.

Semi auto 22 rifles are picky what ammo they like. Also you tend to waste a lot of ammo which is almost.10c a round now. For me it is pump or bolt action all the way.

I just got a 10/22 a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier.Mine is the scary all-black variety too.
