    Ranges busy today?

    On one hand, it's Monday. On the other hand, who actually went back to work? Any input on whether I'll be fighting the throngs or not? Thanks in advance.

              Down Range (Chico) pretty full last Friday @ 3:30, now with all the new guns under the tree, it might be busy today, but so what, go anyway.

              Had a young man come up & say want to shoot my 686, we said sure.

              Also let him shoot the 1911 & P-07, good times.

                  If the stranger whom you let fire your guns shoots somebody with it, are you financially liable?

                      It's nuts there all week. I went in last week to get a gift card and it was packed. I'll wait until next week when everyone goes home/back to work.

                          ranges always get busy during holidays, especially around New Years, they want to hear stuff go Bang to celebrate the new years.

                          firing a gun at midnight isnt as common anymore , people go to the range instead

                                      Just curious, where on BLM land do folks go to shoot, and how do you know if it's an "approved" area for shooting? Seems risky to me for someone not familiar with the area.

                                          One gets BLM maps, checks local and county regs, checks with BLM, and then shoots on any permissible land. What county are you in?
