Intra Familial Transfer

Any of you guy doing a Intra Familial Transfer to any of your kids before the 1st of the year? I'm guessing there wouldn't be many young people with legal AW next year.

I believe it's actually 18.

Kids have to be 18 years of age, Use the doj CRIS online system, it's quick, kids need an FSC card
you can sign on as guest or create an account.

That form didn't have a way to transfer between parent & child.

It should be the child filling out the form - no 'giver data' required.

Sure it does. My son & I have used it to transfer guns to each other. Your child will fill out the form. About half way down is a 'Relationship' box where you select 'Parent to Child' and the next box is name of the relative (you).

"He" was filling it out & a pop up box need a selection to complete. From estate, death of spouse, extra were choices

Nothing like that on mine. Are you using "Report of Intra-Familial Firearm Transaction" on this link? There are several forms on the CRIS. Make sure you are using the right one. The firearm ownership report won't work

Would it be like the old DROS process
as to where one could do five
(whatever the number was) at one time?

Looks like the online CRIS form Report of Intra-Familial Firearm Transaction can only do 1 per form. The instructions may say how to do more .. dunno.
