So I have done some research on the Internet and I have found that this appears to be a Gen 2.5/3 G30. It has the finger grooves but does not have the rail under the slide. Can someone please help me confirm what Gen it is? Also what are they going for? It has new night sights and two mags.

It's Gen 2.5 (it has RTF, finger grooves, and no accessory rail.)So I have done some research on the Internet and I have found that this appears to be a Gen 2.5/3 G30. There's no special collectors pricing on it, they go for the same as a standard Gen 3.
Because current holster are made from Gen 3, sometime the Gen 2.5 doesn't fit right in certain types of holsters due to the dimensions being off where the accessory rail would be.
Quick Guide to Glock Gen:
Gen 1 = non-RTF
Gen 2 = RTF
Gen 2.5 = RTF, finger grooves
Gen 3 = RTF or RTF2, finger grooves, accessory rail
Gen 4 = RTF3, finger grooves, accessory rail, multiple backstraps, reversible mag release
Gen 4.5 = RTF3, reversible mag release
(Gen 4.5-5?) M = RTF3, accessory rail, multiple backstraps, reversible mag releasesigpic

RTF = Rough Textured Frame
RTF was developed after end users critique about the smooth texture on the Gen 1.
RTF2 and RTF3 was developed after end users request for a more aggressive texture for use in wet/humid environments.
There is currently three variants of RTF.
RTF or RTF1 = standard on the Gen 2, Gen 2.5, Gen 3
RTF2 = optional on the Gen 3
RTF3 = standard on the Gen 4, Gen 4.5sigpic
