I have a range bag for ammo and Earphones, got it for $15 at Turner's. Then picked up a Condor Double rifle bag that fits plenty of other stuff too. Two handguns and magazines.

I have a couple of Gunmate Range Bags and think they are really well made for a bag that only cost $18. https://www.amazon.com/GunMate-Range.../dp/B01MG4DUOD

I had old tool bag and it actually work great due to inner frame and pretty sturdy even with lots of weights . just not cool or tactical loooking lol

Because I found it lay around in the garage.

I approach this from the needs of an apartment. The Pelican 1600 is the best purchase i ever made. I can fit 1 16" LMT AR, 1 platecarrier with 10x12 plates, medical and a D3 chest rig, team wendy helmet with PVS-14, a full ammo can with 750ish rounds, crye field pants, arcteryx top, and an extra pair of socks. The wilson fits in there too. But the size doesnt scream "rifle" like a long case does, which to me is a huge red flag where i dont have a garage to put stuff in my trunk. No, i dont use 90% of this at the regular range but some classes require certain PPE or equipment. And running in plates for a few hours is a pretty good workout. Just some food for thought if you happen to be in a similar position.... Without the plate carrier, you could fit a second rifle. I used to bring an LMT MWS 16" and the 16" MRP without the plate carrier

This is my range bag. Prices have come down and is a very popular range bag. Check out video I made on mine and what I keep in it.

Wife got me a midway AR range bag. Fits 8 mags down one side. 4ot 5 pistols in yhr pouches in the center. All my pistol mags down the otjer side and the. 2 sets of ear and eye pro with plenty of room got my maglula loaders. Long guns go in a softball bat bag from back when I lived in the middle of a condo complex and didn't want anyone knowing what I had.

I'm very happy with this one:

Good heavy material and well constructed. You can easily carry 4 or more pistols, 12 mags, and all the ammo and targets you'd need for a day. I keep all my small tools in one end compartment and eyes and ears in the other end. The only minor beef is the big Cabela's lettering.
