Say I want to buy an AR15, with a compensator / brake - not a flash hider.
Could you just remove the collapsible stock completely, leaving only the buffer tube, and remove the pistol grip completely as well, leaving no grip at all, and wouldn't that make it totally "featureless"?
- It now does not have a collapsible stock.
- It does not have a pistol grip.
- It does not have a flash suppressor; as I stated, it would have a comp / brake.
- The law states rifles can NOT have a folding / collapsible stock; it does not state that they MUST have a stock at all.
- As long as it meets the OAL requirements (which the buffer tube alone does) we're in the clear.
- The law states it can not have a pistol / thumb hole grip, but does not state that it MUST have a grip at all.
Thoughts?
