There seems to be HUGE demand of guns lately.... All gun stores are jam packed, paperwork delayed, shipping delayed, stocks empty...

I would like to buy something too. What are some of the most desirable ideas? I don't want to spend more than say, $500 - $900... (Btw, I have a CZ 455 Varmint & a Buckmark in jail).

Are you asking about soon to be banned guns? Uh......Ruger AR 556? Springfield Saint? Not much to choose from in your price range, and not much time to take ownership with what little time there is left...

Get an AR. M&P sport II, right in your price range. OR... an AK. You can pick up a WASR for $800 ish in the marketplace.

Whatever in-stock AR15 fits your budget unless you already own one.

It's an iconic fun to shoot gun. As a commodity item with little room for profit it's a good value. Every American adult who isn't a prohibited person should own at least one.

AK47s were a good way to burn through $100 cases of ammo when they cost under $300, although with gun and ammunition close to AR15 prices without the accuracy they're not on my short list.

But get a 03 C&R FFL and California Certificate of Eligibility so you can continue to have online ammunition orders delivered to your home like you do today.

Just think of it as FSC 2.0 with increased cost and hassle, one of the many things the government does to discourage gun ownership in California.
