Hi folks. I have an elderly female friend who inherited a few firearms from her father and needs to sell them, and she has asked me to help her accomplish that. A couple are straight forward, but there are two that are a little different. Before I get them offered up for sale, I need to check a couple of things. One question was about a Contender she has, but I posted that in another thread.
So she also has a S&W model 41-1 as seen below. Don't get too excited about it. I know it's a fairly rare gun, and this one is in fine shape, BUT.. it has a .22LR barrel on it and she doesn't have the .22 Short that it came with, no box, no paperwork.
I have no clue as to how to value this one. I'm thinking a collector may be interested in at least for the frame, but not sure how/where to advertise it. I'm pretty sure she's not going to want to deal with shipping it.
Any ideas?
Thanks to anyone more knowledgeable than I for any help you might be able to offer.

p.s. -- the fingerprints are mine and I wiped them off ;-)
