You purchased new and it doesn't have a piece with a para-cord wrist strap? Even with the supplied tool it is a PIA to do. I'm sure any small screwdriver will do the trick. Just insert upward and push toward the muzzle. The supplied tool is designed to use the trigger guard as something to kind of lock into and pry.

I didn't like the idea of the metal digging into the plastic, and I was afraid I was going to lose the tool it came with.

I use the cheap chopsticks that come free with Chinese meals. Don't use the pointy end but use the wider end that doesn't touch the food. You might need to bevel it slightly.

I ordered some extra tools because the plastic tool is a must have. It is a pain but with some practice, it is not too bad.

It's not all that hard. Looks like everybody is making it more complicated than it really is. I just use a pen to release the magazine. It's easy. It works better than the tool that was provided.

Anyone know where to get one? Mine came with a cage and I'd rather have the Raddlock.

You must not have seen the mega thread over in the California 2A section.

Wait, so now there is classifications as "Bullet Button Assault Weapons"? So we are stuck with bullet buttons and have to registered it or go featureless?? This is lame dude.
