Laptop bag stops bullets: briefcase/multi-threat shield

From CultOfMac.com this week. Apparently this product was introduced last year:

This laptop bag’s a lifesaver — it stops bullets

The video at the bottom of the article is pretty impressive. I'll embed it here.
They seem to be using all or mostly JHPs for this test. Comments?

But will it stop multiple rounds of .338 while I protect my mall?
Winning is half the battle. The other half? Why red and blue lasers of course

Imagine holding that and the slug hits you in the forearm. Would the force still be enough to cause trauma? Of course better than shot, just thinking out loud

I'm sure it would hurt like an SOB. Probably fracture bones?

Cool idea. I wonder if it could work as a laptop bag? In the pics of it folded and carried, it kinda stands out as an odd thing to carry.

            Or...Just carry a gun
"When the system breaks down, you get to vote from the rooftops. Its one of the last best traditions of western enlightenment"

"This was an IQ test/science experiment of Josef Mengele proportions, and the public willingly lapped it up. And many failed". (me, on Wuhan flu, 2022)

            Question EVERYTHING.
