Sure looks like it.
What is Walmart Pay?
Walmart Pay is a feature built into the Walmart mobile app that allows you to use your smartphone to pay for in-store purchases.Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you,

It's just a cash transfer from one Walmart to another. I'd say take it, pick up the cash then ship him his item.sigpic

wouldn't that be a MoneyGram transfer at Walmart Money Center or Customer Service? If that's the case, sure have the seller send money via MoneyGram at any Walmart and give seller a reference number to pick up the money at any Walmart.
But OP's says "Walmart Pay", that is totally something else. Maybe OP is mixed up on "Walmart Pay" and "MoneyGram transfer at Walmart Money Center".Comment

I got confused when OP used the term "Walmart Pay". After reading OP's original post again, I think I understand what he is asking.
Sending money from one Walmart location to another Walmart location is by using MoneyGram which every Walmart has. "Walmart Pay" is actually a feature Walmart developed to let customer pay for their item in-store faster at checkout.
As for buyer sending via MoneyGram, you (seller) would have to provide your name and address. Buyer does the MoneyGram transfer and gives you a reference number. You take the reference number and your ID and pick up the money at Walmart's Money Center or Customer Service.
No protection or recourse for the buyer. Its a straight money transfer from one person to another period. So if you are the buyer and you send the money and seller disappear . . . . nothing you can do. If you are the seller, let the buyer send money via MoneyGram, no risk to you.Comment
