Remove pistol grip from ak featureless?

I really want to pick up an arsenal ak before the year is over and register it. Only problem is, I don't want to purchase an arsenal with a bullet button.
Assuming the arsenal ak I choose has a muzzle break and a non folding stock. Can I ask the supplier to send it to my ffl without the pistol grip and it will be considered featureless?

Should be fine, as long as your receiving FFL is good with this. Some will be, some not so much.

IIRC the Arsenals all ship with a 10 round mag, so you should be good there too.

Also, it is easy to convert the screwy Arsenal CA magazine lock to standard one if you want to go that route. My kit of choice for doing this is the M+M MRL kit:
