Thoughts on Ammo Prices in a Year?

What's everyone's predictions on future ammo prices?

I've been reading the emails from sgammo, stating that they are offloading some products for a loss to "clear space" but to me that doesn't seem like the reason. I'm speculating the real reason is that manufacturers will lower wholesale prices and it's better to offload that stuff now before retail prices start falling more.

Thoughts? Other theories? Maybe California alone will prop up demand over the next year?

I would not be surprised to find out that many Calgunners (and non-Calgunners) are loading up on ammo now to make a killing in the end of 2017 panic ammo-buying rush.

Prices will be within 10% of current cost retail probably- if you have it available. It's not likely to be any national rush like this year- but you never know. Ammo generally appreciates in value and the value of the dollar will probably decrease.

Probably higher. Turners is now selling 22lr for also 10$ for 50 rounds. That's pretty crazy seeing that just a few month ago it was 100 rounds for 10$.
