and Marshall Tucker in the background..Now why in
Heavens name does this goofy state want to deny
us the right to have fun like that.

There's a guy at the Glendale Gun Show that has a Tippmann for sale for about 2500 IIRC. I don't think he knows much about it because he doesn't even have the name right. I think he said it was a Tipton and that it was fed with plastic clips.

Denny Tippmann is a friend of mine from paintball days. He made a mini-Browning 50 cal that shoots .22 magnums and a mini-Browning 30 cal that shoots .22 LR. They were available in both full-auto and semi-auto back in the 80's.

Before he made the mini-machine guns, he was in the business of locating and refurbishing Gatling Guns. When Class 3 manufacturing came under the gun in the late 80's, Tippmann started making paintball guns, but their main business has always been manufacturing industrial sewing machines.

I have 3 of Denny's full-auto paintball guns down in the garage. The other day my kids saw one and asked what it was. So I screwed in a CO2 tank, (I was surprised it still had gas in it.) and let her rip.

All my son could say was, "That's cool, dad."
