Im so f ing pissed with Bass Pro in Manteca. I purchased my first Gun(ive owned many guns but this is my first dealer purchase) from bass pro in mid Oct. Day 7 they call me with a delay. Keeping checking in with them over next week and asked two seperate employees over the phone about policy for releasing to undertermained as at this point its been 2 weeks and im figuring that is what is going to happen. Both employees both times tell me they release . Today is day 31 and after calling down there they told me it undetermained now and they cant release untill it shows release. He said that can still happen and im like are you serious??? I told him that doj is done and they aint going to do nothing more. He then tells me that doj wont allow them to release and I told him to read the doj website on undetermained and it clearly shows that they may release. After he looks it up he comes back and now tells me its bass pro company policy not to release on undetermined. After going round and round with this guy trying to shove some logic up his butt I give up. They did promise to give full refund back ofcourse minus doj fees. They better not even try a restocking fee when I show up down there.
What a joke. If I had known their"company policy" I would have never purchased from them let alone have waited more then 2 weeks, I could have just moved on.
You know Im born and raised in this state and have always loved living here but the last 15-20 years here have really gone down hill. Talking about violation of my rights. Not my problem doj cant get their head out of their *** and do there job as our tax dollars pay for this? The only thing I have on my record that I can even remember is a misdameanor reduced to an infraction for tresspassing like 20 years ago. It was reduced to basically a traffic ticket and I was never arrested just cited. It was for fishing by the railroad tracks as I wanted to return to the place and fish the area my dad taught me how to fish. The judge couldnt even believe I was cited and just fined me like $50. So shouldnt have been very hard to get a disposition on that but even then I dont see how that would effect me at all.
So just wanted to throw this info out to everyone. Bass pro will not release.......
