I was concerned that removing the VFG would somehow put the AOW into an otherwise unlawful category. I don't know much about AOW's. I've done some research, but am still hazy on it. I will check out the link in your post. I'm trying to find out if I can legally purchase and possess a Mossberg 500 14" with a raptor style grip. Thanks for the link!

How are these transferred in 2016 in California? I got mine a couple of years ago when SSE was still in effect. I know the state considers them a handgun as far as transfer. Since they are not on the roster, are you exempt or?
