Nice to get out with family

Been under the weather but with my dad and nephew being in town I couldn't pass up a chance to get out today. Always nice when family can get out.

Had good friends up from AZ and we took the boys out to celebrate today too. Went through 700 rounds of 9mm, 200 .45, 500 .223, 40 .308 and 650 .22. Best day shooting in a long time, found a great new place out in BLM

Took the teenage boys out to Coyote Sporting clays mountain course and pushed 300 shells thru the 12 ga. Nice weather, fun course and out shooting with the "boys"...can't beat that...momma went to the beach so she is happy too!

Sunday IDPA

Me, MrsBoma and the dog went to our quasi local IDPA match. 4 stages of fun in 75 degree weather. Shot the Qualifier after.

Invited a new shooter to his first match. Riding the coat tails of member dwalker I was able to fill in his gear gaps with loaner mags, ear pro and ammo. His only gripe after Stage 1: only being able to shoot it once! He literally got on his phone and joined IDPA before the match was over.
(score one for the good guys)

Wife had another great match, I could watch her shoot all day.
I threw the kitchen sink at the match (speed, speed, speed) and probably pooped the bed.
Dog DQ'd prior to match, illegal safety meeting defecation.

Spent the entire day in the sun with wonderful like minded people and my best friend all while honing our shooting skills. Just waiting on results to see how she & he did.
