Oddly enough, a grocery bag weighs about 2x as much as a plastic fork. I didn't believe it either, til I did some quick googling to see how many plastic bags equal a plastic fork, and came up with half of one bag. Still doesn't change the point that the whole thing is stupid though. I'm going to start buying disposable bags in bulk online and show up to the grocery store with them.

You would be if you knew the actual cost of the bag, it's not even close to 10 cents.

LA County has had that law for over a year.

After purchasing six Trader Joes $3.99 reusable bags, and then never having them in the car, I just gave up and pay the flipping dime.

Every now and then, the drone will forget to ask if I want a bag... I just stand there and look at them with my bottle of whiskey on the counter and then they realize they screwed up... I remind them that alcohol requires a bag.

The new Walmart bags are nice. The running joke about the old ones was they had to give you 6 when you bought 3 items because that's the only way they'd make it to the parking lot.
The new ones are as nice as the BassPro bags.

Chino Hills looked to be not-horribly stocked... maybe 50% from the look (I didn't go to the counter). They actually had 2 people working the counter.
Usually it takes a trip to the customer service desk to get someone with the key.

I use Walmart bags for scooping dirty cat litter into. So I'm quite happy about these new bags, 10 cents is a small price to pay to not leave any more breadcrumb trails of sand and bits of dry poop on the floor between the litter box and the trash can anymore. The old bags almost always had holes in them, often holes I didn't notice until it was too late.

My local Walmart yesterday had about the same ammo supply as it's had every time I've been in there for the last 2 years. Plenty of 40, 45, 9mm, and hunting cartridges. But zero 22lr and 5.56/223. Same ol' same ol'.

Haven't bought walmart ammo in a long time, you just don't save any money (versus online) and it's not a reliable place to find what you need.

It's probably a half cent for normal bags, new crazy thick bags 1 or 2 cent.
You can buy regular bags in bulk for 2.5 cents from amazon.

I bought 1,000 ct box of black bags at Sam's Club for less than $13.00. Gosh I hate this liberal state.
