    need help please on surefire

    today I dought this I chose it by accident I would like to know if it is a actual light or i need infared goggles to see it thanks M900A-IR: Sure-Fire Millennium Vertical Foregrip WeaponLight, A.R.M.S. Throw Lever, Navigation Infrared LED (the 2nd one) http://www.opticsplanet.net/surefire...hts-m900a.html or should I call and switch to the original blue 1st one ????

    Totally a guess on this one, but if the side lights are IR, exchange it for the blue or red LED ones.

        Yes, you picked the wrong one.

        Call and have them change it to the red or blue LED navigation lights.

          Ditto what everyone says. Red is not suppose to effect your regular eye night vision. I think blue is to track blood trails.

            thanks i will call tomm does anyone have any experience with them are they nice (its the same price and i doubt they process orders on sunday)

                Yes, call and switch to either red or blue nav lights. they are dim enough that it doesnt really matter and you will find you probally will never really use them. IR is for if you have night vision capabilities. You can work in total darkness with nvg's on and use your Surefire to light everything up, and to the bad guy it willlook like total darkness still. I have a Surefire M900 series mounted on my M4 here in Iraq, bought courtesy of DrunkSkunk.
