Rimless case - CCI Blazer Brass

Went to the range today, a round fired, but case didn't eject and caused a double feed. Took it out of the chamber and the case has no rim for the ejector to catch onto. Better check the rim on the casing if you have CCI Blazer Brass. Mine was 124gr 9mm

So why didn't you inspect your ammo as you loaded the magazine...

This is the first time it's happened to me in 20+ yrs. I was using Uplula mag loader so was loading quickly and wasn't looking at the rims. I just received 1k round case so will be examining those.

Don't worry everyone, Captain obvious is on the case!

Cuz people spend that much time inspecting ammo before shooting it... Right.

I get that it's a good habit but here in the real world... It don't work that way.

This is easy for me, I inspect every aspect of every round as I reload it in a single stage press. Don't have to when it goes into the magazine.

                    You're welcome, Major Idiot.

Right, because its so hard to take a second to roll it in your fingers and look at it.

Cool find. It just didn't go through the final process in forming the case. No big deal. If you aren't going to keep it yourself, I would love to have it to use when teaching reloading classes. Shoot me a PM if you're willing to send it to me.

Tossed it into garbage. Let me dig it up as luckily it's in my garage garbage which doesn't accumulate much trash. I'll PM you once I get it.
