Single Shot Exemption

Is it still available? Does anyone know of an FFL that will convert and transfer in the Los Angeles Area?

I've been looking to add a Kimber Micro Raptor to my Kimber Raptor Collection and have had no luck.

Yes, there is still a single shot exemption however, the law was changed so that any handgun that has ever been a semi automatic is not eligible for either a SSE or a SAE.

See the last sentence which I highlighted:

However, Article 4 (commencing with Section 31900) and Article 5
(commencing with Section 32000) shall apply to a semiautomatic pistol
that has been temporarily or permanently altered so that it will not
fire in a semiautomatic mode.
