13. Proposition 63 is known as the Firearms and Ammunition Sales Initiative. A YES vote would require persons who want to buy ammunition to pass a background check with the California Department of Justice. And Proposition 63 would make it against the law to possess large-capacity ammunition containers, known as magazines. Will you vote YES on 63, to require background checks on ammo purchases and to make large-capacity magazines illegal? Or will you vote NO on 63, which would leave the existing system in place?

It will likely pass, and if it does, it's unlikely that CA's liberal courts will ever overturn it.

Unfortunately I think its a done deal. If we cant get enough signatures to fight gunmageddon, then there's no way we can stop 63. We are in a state of Constitution hating libtards. Republicans and Libertarians are the minority here. We think its bad now? Wait till Clinton is in the White house. God Help Us!

What about Props only addressing a single issue???

Prop 63 has two issues, 1 - DOJ Clearance to buy ammo and 2 - Ban on Standard Capacity Magazines

I suspect it will pass as there has been no major effort to inform non-gun-owners of the problems it creates and duplicates and the taxpayer expense.
The only saving grace is that there are no LE exemptions, and I heard the law cannot be changed.
I'm sure the libs will find a way or LE will fight the legality and constitutionality of the law.

I expect it to pass. It will just force me to stock up on ammo, (probably another 20,000 rounds), and to box up my Standard Capacity Magazines, (that were grandfathered), for a day when I move or am forced to use them.

Now would be a good time to push the concept of Jury Nullification.

I suspect all firearms owners will vote against Prop 63.
Most on-firearm owners will probably vote for it out of ignorance.
