    Dsa fal not feeding

So I bought a dsa fal from Atlantic firearms. Great deal by the way. Had to order a couple of dsa 10 round mags for since I could find any surplus 10/20 in stock anywhere. Just making sure my assumption is correct that it's the mag not the gun. When the rifle cycles it doesn't catch rim of the cartridge to shove it in the pipe. It either misses it completely or picks it up about mid way down thus jamming the rifle. What are your thoughts. Do you have a spot to order surplus mags?

Jesticearms used to have surplus 10/20 but don't have any listed now. You can also try polishing the mags with a dremel that can help improve them. We had a thread about maybe last year or the year before I had posted some pictures of some DSA mags that I was able to get working a little better. The symptoms were kind of the same, a round might feed part way up with the bolt putting a dent in the side. I was able to get non DSA mags from out of state and had them blocked a few years ago and they run fine. They were new mags from keepshooting.com but they don't have them listed anymore either

The problem may not be your mags. There were some DSA arms
receivers that had problems in a certain serial batch. You need to
check FAL files as they can help ID if you have one of those rcvrs.
I had one and it was a pain to get it corrected. YMMV

9mm revolver, When did you purchase the rifle ? The DSA rifles are covered by their warranty and we really have not had many issues with the rifles.

You could try a Moses Mag, they've had good feedback from the people at the FAL Files forum.

They haven't updated their website to advertise their CA mags, but they do have them. You'll need to email them to order according to the thread at FAL Files.

Make sure the magazine is properly seated first. I got a couple of 10 round DSA magazines from Brownells and they are very tight in the magazine well. It could be easy to not have it all the way in. or seated in the front but tipped down a bit at the back.

I think I bought it like 4 months ago. I was able to shoot it like 8 weeks ago. My job takes me out of state for long periods of time. Only having 2 weeks R&R allowed me to dros it on one R&R and then shoot it the next. I recently came home again and should be home for 6months so I can take care of the issue better. The 10 round mags weren't from Atlantic firearms.

I would suggest trying another mag to rule out the mag as the issue . If the mag is not the problem DSA has been very good to work with in the past resolving issues .
