inspect your Bobro scope mount

The mount was never abuse or dropped. the recoil lug just broke off and disappear at range today.

it was mount on my Rem700 308 for like 600 round max

it also mess up my scope mount rail ....

i guess i too am having a hard to figuring out how its the mounts fault. it just looks like you beat the mount to hell, most likely by not attaching it flush when you tried to lock down the mount.

ill check mine when i get home to see if it has the same issues.

Dang, the screws for the recoil lug sheared right off. Is that roll pin supposed to stick out like that or should it be flush?

The mount was on my 308 bolt gun, Mount never been drop or abuse.

you can't really lock down the mount when your recoil lug not sat in flush between the rail. you can go home try it tonight.

Here the way i mount on my scope base.
Open all the lever, sat the mount on the rail and push foward with gentle force then lock down the lever.

it happen exactly the same way to other member on snipershide

Wow I can't believe the mount only has one recoil lug held by screws no less. My bobro mount on my acog has two lugs and they are metal molded in the base. Looks like a bad design to me.

you can see the lugs in the image below. Clearly a superior design. I think all other Bobro mounts are like the OP's, even Bobro branded ACOG mounts.

bobro offer me full refund, i will go with Spuhr mount after the refund been made.

They now use Bobro's on the TA31ECOS? At least that's an improvement over the ARMS.
