Ammo prices up?...

I "tried" to order 10000 cases in my cart (AIM) and it let me. Obviously didn't check out, lol. I'm stocked up but still watch what prices land at.
SGammo I noticed does that. Think they play games with their online inventory but order thru them anyway. My guess is so it will get dispersed by many rather than hoarded by a few.

We had this conversation when , a couple days ago? Aim still has it listed , same price and I noticed the ad lay out is different a bit. I don't know if that means anything just an observation that one may assume means they are paying attention to the ad and if it is stock or not. I guess????
I may buy some just cause I'm tired looking at it. SGammo has their xtac 193 at about $360 a case.
This may be a good sub from now on ...... least for me

PSA had a deal for 9mm Blazer Brass $10.99 and free shipping over $100. Ended up spending $600 on some other ammo as well. I think reloading is the long term answer. But for now stock up. IMO this is the calm before the storm. I was going to wait for some Vets day sales but decided not to take a chance as it is after the election. Once Californians realize they need to get a permit for ammo..................To da moon.

Oh well , buying bullets isn't something I probably should be doing anyhow.....

Nah , I havn't been effected yet buy any of the panics and am not in the market for any more ammo ....... but I love to window shop and get caught up in it.
I don't know why ... happens every time. I won't be needing any but I'll know every move it makes.
So far I don't think it hit like some retailers would have liked ........ maybe this one won't get too far off the ground.
Of course if you are in CA ............. there is a little different stock piling taking place.
I am also finding myself waiting for Wednesday morning.
It's all going to be so interesting.
It's like the Super Bowel ... and I don't watch sports.....

I actually think (online) ammo prices will drop quite a bit after Jan 1. Suddenly the entire state of CA won't be able to order and the big online sellers are going to lose a lot of customers.

I could be wrong, but I just see a huge drop is demand coming Jan 1.

Maybe ... CA got a lot of gun shooting folk.
I'd certainly not be happy about any of it.
We have some brick and mortar retailers in PA who aren't acting like anything out of the norm ..... as of Saturday anyhow.......
And may you one day shove all this non sense up the bug holes of those in your state offices.....................

Actually the ammo restrictions don't start January 1st. The legislative piece doesn't go into effect until 01/01/18 but Newsom's Prop 63 when it passes I believes moves the date to July of '17. Someone correct me, please, if I am wrong.

Just got an old back in stock notification from SG Ammo for MEN 124 gr NATO, 249.80 for a case. I last bought this product from them in August for 219.80. I'm glad I'm ready because I fear "here we go again".

actually you're right, I just had Jan 1, 2017 on the brain because of all the new AW restrictions.

So I predict prices will slowly drop in 2017 until Nov/Dec when they'll spike again for last minute buying, and then Jan 1, 2018 will see a big drop in CA demand and THEN it will be interesting to see how the bigger online ammo shops respond. Will they keep their supply low knowing they're going to lose a lot of business, or.....who knows.

A sure sign is the predictable ammo price increases from CTD.

Some raise prices now only to lower them again for Black Friday. That makes some think they are getting a deal.
