This is true from their perspective ^^^ in that the AW law has stuck in places like CA, has not been defeated in court, and was generally not politically negative for the backers.

Spreading the AWB state to state is the optimal strategy for the anti's to take, absent any near term possibility of a renewed federal ban.

I disagree. Michiganders are nice people and they have Detroit to deal with, they understand what it's like to have a Democrat urban center siphoning all the state tax revenue away, I have not see that they feel some irrational need to trumpet any perceived superiority to the rest of the nation, like, say, Texas or any other state on the south.

I am sorry to see my brethren there being faced with the same stupidity we have.
