Michigan looking to implement the dumb assault weapon ban too

It's not dumb and it's not illogical.
You people really need to get over thinking that way..."He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

It's only a matter of time before it catches up with the rest of the country unfortunately...My rights aren't yours to vote away.Comment

This is true from their perspective ^^^ in that the AW law has stuck in places like CA, has not been defeated in court, and was generally not politically negative for the backers.
Spreading the AWB state to state is the optimal strategy for the anti's to take, absent any near term possibility of a renewed federal ban.Comment

Michigan was already a lost cause. So much of the NE and creeping over through Michigan, reaching into Minnesota now.-POLICESTATE,

They're pretty much a muslim state now, aren't they?"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.

I disagree. Michiganders are nice people and they have Detroit to deal with, they understand what it's like to have a Democrat urban center siphoning all the state tax revenue away, I have not see that they feel some irrational need to trumpet any perceived superiority to the rest of the nation, like, say, Texas or any other state on the south.
I am sorry to see my brethren there being faced with the same stupidity we have.Comment

Liberal Democrats
Wherever the liberal Democratic sets root, slowly but surely the Bill of Rights will cease to exist.
Then when all of the people realize they have been bamboozled by these dictators, will they wake up.Comment

Democrat voters breed like rats. They will eventually breed enough dumb voters to ruin this country.Comment

Michigan has been heavily Democrat for a long time because of the large union membership. John Dingell was a long-serving Democrat Congressman from Michigan and one of the NRA's staunchest friends in the House. Michigan has historically been very pro-gun, whatever the party affiliation.
Michigan might, however, suffer from the same demographic problem that plagues New York, Nevada and most western states (including California to a great extent), where the high-population urban center tail wags the rural rest of the state dog. Michigan has 83 counties, yet the five most populous (including Detroit and Ann Arbor) make up 50% of the state's total population.Originally posted by cockedandglockedGetting called a DOJ shill has become a rite of passage around here. I've certainly been called that more than once - I've even seen Kes get called that. I haven't seen Red-O get called that yet, which is very suspicious to me, and means he's probably a DOJ shill.Comment

Did anyone notice the proposed Michigan definition of "assault weapon" includes pump action?Comment
