    Dros question

Does anyone know how it works if I buy a gun, wait the 10 day period then pick my gun up & the next day I decide that I do not want the gun anymore ??

You own it, you can sell it.
    Buyers remorse, etc.

That being said, my DOJ radar says maybe straw purchase.
Unless you are hurting for cash, I suggest waiting a bit.

In before I am told I am full of it since I have never done this and won't start working for DOJ until I get a few more names

That's easy. You find someone to sell your new gun to. Try the marketplace here.

As far as a return policy, that would come down to the individual policy of the shop you purchased at, but the gun is already registered to you regardless. I've never seen a shop that accepted returns after pick up.

        Good point stix.

If you were intending to sell it back to the store, come here instead.
You should make close to what you paid if you got a decent deal.

Depends on the store, most will not take a return. Once you buy it and pick it up, there's no cooling off period unfortunately. Still doesn't hurt to talk to the shop owner, I once bought a ridiculous 300 win mag rifle and after picking it up, the next day regretted it so I talked to the shop owner and he bought it back for almost full price minus DROS fees as long as I used the money towards another gun. Worst case scenario you can post it up in the marketplace and take a small loss and lesson learned.
