Aiming???? thoughts on this video
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

IMHO he's exactly right. Bullseye shooters need to aim "properly". Defensive handgun shooters need to quickly get rounds on target with combat accuracy.
Dry fire practice for trigger control works wonders. Next is live fire exercises, and plenty of it. Comfortable and confident in your movements with the gun. Did anyone else notice how fluid his movements were in his gun handling? When you can manipulate the gun and trigger like that, then hitting your target with combat accuracy will be second nature.
Your hands will point naturally where you look.
Good video for new shooters. Practice dry fire, practice drawing and not sweeping your support hand or anything else, even from a low ready. Practice dry firing as the gun comes up. You never know if you will need to fire quickly at something that really close.sigpic
Stupid people don't know they are stupid. Because they are stupid. They will follow evil geniuses and do their bidding, because they are stupid.
Really super stupid people look up to, and follow stupid people like they were geniuses, because to them, they are. Unfortunately the reality of it is, that doesn't make stupid people any smarter.
That right there is the root cause to most problems in the world. -
Sounded funny. What caliber was he shooting?

In the United States a person's expertise on a subject is inversely proportional to their knowledge of the subject: The less they know about something, the more they become an expert on it.

that is what he explains is wrong...
if you can run the trigger without moving the gun, you will keep all shots on paper....
Rob's view is run the trigger without moving the gun is important... precision shooting is not the starting point...Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rob seems a bit annoyed or tired of teaching. Kind of worked up.
Almost like “don’t you get it, why can’t you people understand…?”
But yea, don’t flinch or jerk the gun.

Accuracy comes from trigger control.
The 'tighter' the shot placement as to be emphasis on Sight Alignment.
Lusie-gusie basketball size A-Zone shots at 4 yards emphasis is on Sight Picture.
I'm not hawking Nevada Condominiums and rocketship rides so what do I know?Comment
