I'm putting together a 2011 and like the look of a closed reverse plug.
I ordered a full length guide rod and discovered that won't work with a closed end reverse plug.
I haven't ordered my plug yet BUT want to know if it's advised to keep the full length guide rod and just go with a revere plug with a hole?
Also, if using a GI guide rod and a reverse plug, is the take down anything out of the ordinary? With a full length guide rod a paper clip needs to be inserted in the hole in the guide rod for take down.
Edit: Collar vs flanged, I see the visual difference. I have a Brazos slide that's been milled for a reverse plug. Will a collar style reverse plug be drop in and require little fitting?
