    need some information

    back in 2015 i went to court and got my records cleared after some 25 years. i thought that this should take care of any legal issues with owning any fire arms. went in to make a firearm purchase a few months ago and was denied the purchase. tried to get in touch with the doj and get information about what else i need to do they will not help.i have checked and everything that i have found information wise is that there should not be any issue for me to own or puchase a firearm. any help or information in this area is apreciated

              What kind of record did you have? Did it have any domestic violence convictions? If so, it's a lifetime ban on firearms.
